Mosselman Oil Cooler Kits

The BMW E-series N54 and N55 engines are no strangers to oil cooling problems, that’s why we developed the Mosselman Oil Cooler Kits. The higher capacity oil cooler ensures that E-series models equipped with N54 and N55 engines stay cool, even during heated conditions.

The Mosselman Oil Cooler Kits for the BMW 1-Series E8x and BMW 3-Series E9x are available as a single oil cooler kit that replaces the OEM cooler, and a twin extension kit that adds an extra cooler to the left side of the car. Note: This item is not "plug and play". You will need to make some adjustments to the car to fit the bigger oil cooler and bracket. Installation time is approximately 3 hours.

Single Oil Cooler Kit

The single cooler kit replaces the OEM cooler on the right side of the car and comes with a Setrab 19-row oil cooler, a pre-assembled bracket, an oil adapter AN8, and a hose kit. The Mosselman Oil Thermostat N54 has to be ordered separately, which is highly recommended.

Twin Oil Cooler Extension Kit

The twin oil cooler extension kit adds an extra cooler on the left side of the car. It is designed to extend the Single Oil Cooler Kit to a Twin Cooler setup and comes with a Setrab 19-row cooler, pre-assembled bracket, mounting bracket, and hose kit.

This item is not "plug and play". You will need to make some adjustments to the car to fit the bigger oil cooler and bracket. Installation time is approximately 3 hours for the Single cooler kit and 4 hours for the Twin cooler setup.
