We develop our own software in-house and finetune it individually for each car on our dynamometer (dyno). We measure performance both before and after tuning and adjust the software accordingly, ensuring a fully customized remap every time. Different “Stages”

With chiptuning (ECU remapping), people often refer to a “Stage 1” tune. By optimizing parameters in the software, a significant increase in power can be achieved. A Mosselman chiptuning is developed to deliver power safely across the entire rev range. Does your car have an automatic transmission? In that case, we often recommend upgrading the transmission software as well.

Looking for even more performance? For most models, we also offer “Stage 2” and “Stage 3” tuning. In addition to software upgrades, these stages include hardware modifications such as an upgraded intercooler, downpipe, or even a turbocharger upgrade.

Superflow 880 Dynamometer

Custom tuning is crucial for achieving the best results, which is why the Mosselman Turbo Systems facility in Harskamp is equipped with a Superflow 880 dynamometer. This state-of-the-art 4WD chassis dyno can handle up to 1500 hp. The Superflow is connected to an advanced data acquisition system that provides real-time information on boost pressure, temperatures, torque, horsepower, and other key parameters, allowing us to finetune your car with maximum precision.

BMW Models from June 2020+

BMW/Bosch has modified (locked) the security of ECUs since June 2020. As a result, cars produced from that month onward can no longer be tuned in the conventional way, the ECU protection must first be removed. The company that provides this service is based in Finland and performs it exclusively on-site. Because Mosselman collaborates with this company, we are able to get your ECU unlocked and then tune it with our own Mosselman software (chiptuning). Click here for more information.

When we talk about chiptuning a car (remap), we mean that we adjust the software of your BMW or Mini. This allows us to change the parameters of the engine management system, for an example the fuel injection system, ignition and turbo pressure. We always stay within the limits of the engine, which allows you to enjoy maximum performance under safe engine conditions.

Mosselman Turbo Systems has been the expert in BMW and Mini tuning for over 40 years. Due to our experience and expertise we know exactly how far we can go when we chiptune a car. Over the years we’ve constantly developed and thoroughly tested of our software mappings. We believe it’s very important that our software and performance products don’t have negative impact on the reliability of a car. That’s why made sure every upgrade we perform is completely safe and does not harm the car or it’s engine, if driven under normal conditions.

The fuel consumption after chip tuning will be a bit lower, if driven under normal circumstances. However, if you have more power and torque you will probably use it and this will increase the fuel consumption. You can save fuel with our chip tuning, but it all comes down to how good you are in controlling your right foot.

No, we don’t offer warranty on the engine after buying our chip tuning. We don’t do this because we don’t know how what happened with the car and engine before the chip tuning. Before we start with the tuning we will always read the ECU for fault codes and check the engine visually for possible problems. Due to our experience and expertise we know exactly how far we can go when we chiptune a car. We always stay within the limits of the engine, which allows you to enjoy maximum performance under safe engine conditions.

Chip tuning your car will take approximate 3-4 hours, including optional dyno runs. We have a waiting area with some magazines and coffee to make the waiting comfortable.

3 years ago I had my BMW F82 M4 remapped by them. I’ve now driven 65,000 km without a single issue (Stage 3, 671 hp). I went back once because I felt the exhaust pops were lasting a bit too long. They also adjusted that later free of charge. So in my opinion, definitely recommended!
