Expert's advice:

"The Akrapovič Evolution performance exhaust system, made of proprietary titanium, includes a muffler, link pipes, and resonators that run from the stock downpipes back. These link pipes feature larger-than-stock-diameter tubing and cast titanium flanges. The secondary catalytic converters are removed, further decreasing backpressure and weight while at the same time deepening the exhaust tone and increasing power output. 

For the ultimate tuning potential, weight reduction and aggressive racing sound, we advise installing catless downpipes. When downpipes without catalytic converters are installed remapping the ECU is mandatory. (Warning: installing catless downpipes might cause problems with local traffic rules)."

Note: The Carbon/Titanium tailpipes are NOT included and have to be ordered separately!

Race proven

The Akrapovic Exhaust systems are tested and race proven by several BMW teams including the BMW M Team RLL & BMW M Motorsport Team competing in IMSA & WEC respectively. Racing at the limit for 6, 12 or even 24 hours continuously, these exhaust systems are put to the ultimate test.
